What it is
A grid box for your terminals
mAIxs Terminator is a desktop app that puts multiple real terminals in one window, in a grid you arrange yourself. With tabs, a repo explorer per terminal and built-in meters for Claude Code and Codex. Work in the clean Standard mode or switch on Arnold mode: a Terminator-themed command center with system meters, workspace menus and a talking Arnold.
What Terminator does
Real terminals, organised, in one place — with a wink.
Multiple terminals in one window
Open real shell sessions side by side in a grid. Choose Auto or a fixed number of columns (1 to 4).
Tabs, grids and shortcuts
Each tab has its own grid. Switch in a flash with shortcuts; your layout (tabs, names, colours, columns) is kept between sessions.
Name and colour per terminal
Give each terminal its own name and colour, so you never hunt for which window is what again.
Repo explorer per terminal
Browse the file tree and open files with syntax colours and line numbers, in the same tile.
Claude Code and Codex meters
A context meter per terminal and account meters in the toolbar: see how full your context is and when your windows reset — for both Claude Code and Codex.
Arnold mode
One click turns your standard terminal into a Terminator command center: a dashboard with system meters (CPU, memory, disk, network), scanlines and multiple colour variants.
Handy workspace menus
A sidebar that takes you straight to dashboard, terminals, session matrix, projects, automation, context engine, scripts, snippets, network and settings.
Command palette and a talking Arnold
Jump to any action or terminal with one shortcut via the command palette. And in Arnold mode a talking Arnold gives you status updates and one-liners — wink included.
